The Madison Area Chamber of Commerce invites residents and visitors to indulge in a sweet day of shopping, treats, and family-friendly fun at the Rose City Chocolate Walk, taking place Saturday, February 7, beginning at 10:00 AM in downtown Madison.

Participants can start their Chocolate Walk by picking up a Rose City Chocolate Walk Guide at the Chamber table in front of The Pink Pear, 42 Main Street. From there, guests are encouraged to stroll through downtown and visit participating businesses offering chocolate treats, chocolate-inspired merchandise, and special surprises throughout the day.

A highlight of the event is the Chocolate Walk Mystery Bag, available for purchase for $10. Only 50 tote bags will be sold, and 12 lucky bags will include a coveted Golden Ticket, redeemable for a $25, $50, or $100 Madison Gift Check, redeemable at local businesses. What’s inside the bag? That’s part of the fun!

In addition to the Chocolate Walk, several complementary and ticketed activities will take place throughout the day:

  • Makerspace: Chocolate Walk Edition (11:00 AM – 3:00 PM) at the METC Education Annex, 23 Main Street. Enjoy special chocolate-themed activities like origami chocolate boxes, making Valentines, and more. Plus, hot chocolate for participants (while supplies last)! Children must be accompanied by guardians at all times.  $10/family, free for members. Special combo ticket of $15 includes entrance to the museum! https://metc.org/event/makerspace-feb7/
